Mizzou over LSU
Drink and his boys beat LSU despite giving up 17 points off turnovers. Had over 550+ yards total O
We don't slide at Appalachian State. It's a sign of weakness.

Re: Mizzou over LSU
I'm surprised that LSU is this bad but the game was moved to Missouri and that situation being messed up for them could have effected it. Big win for Drink though. He only needs 4 wins this year for them to be happy and it looks like he should get that with LSU and likely South Carolina, Vanderbilt, and Kentucky. He may knock off one other. 4 wins with their current schedule would be like 6-7 with a normal OOC they typically have.

Re: Mizzou over LSU
I have big time doubts about them beating UK. Mizzou is woeful on D and UK's OL and RBs will ground them into dust. They should beat SC and Vandy(but those two teams would struggle in the Belt). Good for Drink and Mizzou today, but I don't see the good times lasting for long this season.AppStFan1 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 10, 2020 3:27 pmI'm surprised that LSU is this bad but the game was moved to Missouri and that situation being messed up for them could have effected it. UT coach wears his mask like a scarf. Not even close to covering mouth. Pointless

300 pound players are sweating, laying on top of, and grappling with each other for 60 minutes and some are worried about if a coach surrounded only by individuals that have tested negative for COVID is wearing a mask?
That’s not how science works.
Back to football.
Drink is a great offensive mind, whether he’s successful at Mizz or not he’s got a great future as an OC for a large program as long as he wants one.

Re: Mizzou over LSU
LSU is overrated but Hurricane Delta's threat gives them a legit talkin' point excuse. Coach O is...ugh...I'd rather not say.
If it happens to the Apps, it happens to me!

Not sure. Though I know LSU and to a lesser degree Alabama...according to Boomer Esiason via Newsweek and USA today...may have pushed their players to get the virus early so it wouldn't ruin their seasons.
I so much wish we were as proactive. But hindsight is 20/20 and we had more reason to believe this thing could be deadly in the early summer.

Re: Mizzou over LSU
I would put that game 50/50 but I could see you being right there. They are lucky they have Vandy next week because I would say they lose to Kentucky or South Carolina if they played them next week. Vandy could be closer than it should. I don't think LSU should be ranked after this week but they will still view it as a big win. Teams often have letdowns after, what is perceived as or actually, a huge upset.NavyApp wrote: ↑Sat Oct 10, 2020 3:37 pmI have big time doubts about them beating UK. Yeah I just read about it last night. My best friend is a Clemson alum had heard Clemson had done the same thing...then he pointed me to those articles. I mean I don't have any insider info. But it certainly appears that is what happened.yosef69 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 10, 2020 4:09 pmAre you serious man?Tatedc wrote: ↑Sat Oct 10, 2020 4:08 pmNot sure. Can you not see how shitty it is to say you would like to have willingly infected unpaid student athletes with a virus? Even if it’s not particularly dangerous, it’s a dumb and selfish take.

Good win for drink, but LSU is crazy overrated. Joe Brady was the reason for a lot of their success.

He definitely is a great offensive mind. Can think of at least one App game this year I wish he was calling the plays on offense.Saint3333 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 10, 2020 3:59 pm300 pound players are sweating, laying on top of, and grappling with each other for 60 minutes and some are worried about if a coach surrounded only by individuals that have tested negative for COVID is wearing a mask?

Re: Mizzou over LSU
I saw some LSU fans on Reddit noting that it was Mizzou, not LSU, who had several players out for COVID/contact tracing. I googled it and saw that Mizzou was indeed missing 6-7 players, including some starters. I didn’t see anywhere that LSU was down any players.
I knew this was going to be a big rebuilding year for LSU with all they lost, but dang.
