you aren’t gonna get much support with this take. App was off for damn near a month and scored 45 points while giving up 17 to a very explosive offense. You seem delusional.

Play calling was so much better, part of that is WRs getting separation as well.
Must get the fumbling under control lucky to get two of those back.
Great improvement on special teams!

Re: Arkansas St vs. ASU Game Thread
I agree. People live in the moment of the game and post. It is funny to go back and read. I, myself, was disappointed in first two drives in Q3. It is easy as a sofa QB to want to keep pushing for 60 minutes. However, when you view in totality, awesome win. Overall offense was explosive. TE 18 had great catch in endzone. IMO, I feel like RB Williams is our overall best running back or tied with Harrington. Wiiliams seems to be able to find a few yards when teams stack the box. However, the fumbles may not allow him much playing time. Peoples got lucky with his fumble. I hope Williams can correct the issue. As Coach Clark, when you have the ball, you are carrying the program in your hands. Great Win!! Howie needs to find another career. Evidently he isn't very good at his present one. j/kAppstrong wrote: ↑Fri Oct 23, 2020 7:11 amhttps://nypost.com/2020/10/22/arkansas- ... tion-line/

Watched the post game presser and Clark said Henni has been hurt and rehabbing 10 hours a day this week so lucky to have him at all. Same with Virgil lower leg injury left him at about 50% so he was a no gobiggie wrote: ↑Thu Oct 22, 2020 10:20 pmVery happy we weren’t rusty/flat.
Anyone know why Henni had a quiet night? Doubling him?
Harrington seems to be the main guy at RB now.
Wells looked great. Horn looked good. And Williams did well.
Good job on their big WRs.
Just a few mistakes to clean up. The 2 turnovers especially.

Really impressed with the defensive tackling after the lack of practice. Our secondary gave up catches but virtually nothing after the catch.

Had our turnover miscues not happened we’d be in the high 50s maybe even 60s, so I don’t think anyone on this board will know what you’re talking about. The objective is to milk the clock when you’re up 3 scores to prevent further injuriesASUTodd wrote: ↑Fri Oct 23, 2020 7:33 amThe great thing about it.....I don't need any support. FOR THE CASH!!!
It was a thing that App players did a few years ago. They would "throw cash" into the air after a big play. It was cool to see the players do it again.

Thank you. I thought it was obvious.bigdaddyg wrote: ↑Fri Oct 23, 2020 5:43 amFoot off the gas? We scored 45 freaking points against what has appeared to be a decent team who lit up the scoreboard last week. We scored
45 freaking points and gave up 17 after a huge layoff with minimal practice. You can’t throw the ball every single play. You get a big lead and some thought process is to chew up some clock. Foot off the gas? We looked absolutely great and a few nuts still criticize. I’ve seen a bunch of really good teams play and exhibit little to no defense. Not us last night.

Re: Arkansas St vs. ASU Game Thread
Hindsite is always 20/20.
Great win over a team that would have preferred a shootout. We did what we were supposed to do and were pretty efficient in doing it.
The defensive line manhandled their offensive line. 12 tackles for a loss as well as several sacks. We way more than covered the spread on a dangerous offensive team. Jackson with 2 interceptions. Meech with 2 sacks.
Our defense is legit.
Area of improvement again is turnovers and penalties. However, they were as undisicplined and the net was a wash.
Zac Thomas had a great game. 216 yards passing with a 70% ratio with 4 td's to 1 int. Also over 80 yards rushing. I'll take that all day long.
305 yards rushing. 6.9 yards per carry. Harrington with another over 100 yard performance. Even with the toad nose tackle that they had and the fact that they new we were going to run the ball.
7 different receivers with catches. Emergence of Horn and Wells. 9.4 yards per catch.
Special teams didn't cost us anything. Okay on kick coverage. No misses on extra points or field goals.
As we approached game time, I was worried about the layoff. Kudos to the staff for having us ready to play. We jumped on a team that if you go into the game asleep, could jump to a two or three score lead very quickly. We did not let that happen. Lost a little intensity at the beginning of the 3rd trying to milk clock, but did what we needed to lock it up.
Just keep on getting better! Next up "Duck Dynasty"!

You’re wrong.appgrad2010 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 23, 2020 6:07 amI know why exactly a lot of people do NOT post on this board much anymore. So many clueless, wanna be coaches that post ignorance. BGP private group is why more engaged and positive. Ever since around our FBS transition, everyone thinks we should win every game by 28+, if we commit a turnover we are bad, if we let someone score we are awful. Football is not a perfect game. Good gracious, it reminds me of the same ones in the stands screaming at Satterfield and Drink when we are up a ton in games. Especially one lady towards the top of section 206 who screams all sorts of stuff and has NO CLUE what she is talking about. Some App fans have become whine and cheesers of sorts, its really pathetic.
We should win every game by 50+. We should beat every team so bad that they give up football and collapse the program.

Re: Arkansas St vs. ASU Game Thread
Wasn't there some conversation by the ESPN guys talking about how App fans are like Alabama fans in that we don't just expect to win every game but we expect to win every game by 30 points or more and aren't happy unless we do?
