Georgia St Game Day Thread

We taking the L today. Holy crap we look like a 1-5 team instead of 5-1

BS to blame the players. Its the same players that killed it last year.

Let's be clear it's not "players" being blamed. It is A Player that is being "criticized". This is happening because we have all seen this young man play better, harder and with more fire. He is a Mountaineer and he will be for the rest of his life. The fact remains though HE has to pick it up for his teammates.

Guess he should block for himself too? BS. Two HCs drove this same car to Championships.

The fact is he is double clutching, staring down receivers, not reading the defense, showing zero poise, zero urgency. Yea there have been 3 or ahs this game where the OLine let him down, but what about every other mistake? It's partly play calling but it's part execution by the players. It's easy to say let's go vertical but who has confidence right now ZT could make that work? I don't.

Hate to tell you, but those are symptoms, not causes. Get used to this, regardless of QB.

Last year when the new HC was announced it was almost unanimous on here that he was the right man for the job and would maybe stay for a long time, unlike Satterfield and Drinkwitz and furthermore DG had been brilliant.

Pitiful performance by the offense this half. I feel most of it is play calling, but they are also are getting pushed around. Defense is keeping us in this game. Hope they can keep it up and may have to score since the offense can’t do it.

Should have saved the money and been HC and OC and hired a top D.C. And brought back Jones as a D coach and not DC..

The coach can’t bounce an inside run outside. Make blocks to give ZT time to throw. Make throws to open receivers. All these things aren’t happening and that’s player execution.
