I never understand the "nobody wants to face team X (App)" in the tournament. Are we really that scary right now?

Some teams are scary, we are not one of those. Even if/when boykin comes back. I think the 2 wins against the bottom feeders got our hopes up.

Oh well. Another four game conference tourney stretch. What makes me feel better is the Sunbelt is a one bid league so after the regular season it’s up for grabs again come tournament time.

Laid an egg on alumni day with Cremins in the house. My hope is that Boykin comes back strong soon. He controls the flow of the offense and you can’t leave him open from deep. We need him.

Biggest reason we miss boykin is that he can score at all levels, including ft line. x goes 0-6 with boykins minutes where boykin goes 5-6 from the line. teams can steal possessions by just hacking X. it’s tough, but we have no one else to go to down 3 guards right now. But, if you can’t hit fts, i’m not giving you minutes.

This team plays really hard..cant hit free throws...cant finish at the rim...hopefully we can end up with a winning record. I love kerns and believe in what hes building but we got to find consistency some how

This one hurts , for a lot of reasons mentioned above.I am not conviced JMU is better than us but they were tonight especially at the line.Xavion is a great kid and can do things no one else on either team , maybe in the league can do.The free throw issue is inexcusable .Nothing in his form or technique has changed since November.I am not saying he should be shooting 90% but his terrible technique can be fixed.If it's is , eventually he will make more than he misses . I hurt for the guy , and the team.
