I really really really hope that our Chancellor cares about a whole lot more than just football. Believe it or not the sun does not rise and set for everyone based on how the App State football team does. Some of you folks really need to take a dose of reality and calm down. The level of insanity over this team and coach gets unbelievable. It's a game.

How many buildings has the “game” built over the past decade? Don’t underestimate what the football program brings to the university. The last thing our Chancellor needs is an average football program when it comes to university funding.

I don't necessarily doubt what you are saying but for the sake of argument how much money has the football program NETTED over the past decade? Has the football program really brought in that much money? Do we net a million a year? Two million? If so did $20 million go to buildings?

This has revenue and expenditures as well as other stats.

Yosef 84. No need to defend yourself whether new-fashioned or old-fashioned. It was a classless post. It is pretty evident the reply to your comment must have been beyond critical thinking as the premise in your reply did not care if there was any evidence or a plethora of evidence....the premise was that one should not slander the chancellor in that manner...which I agree with.

Omg, this!!! I’m not in either camp, but it’s program suicide if we start over after going to a bowl and firing this staff. Screw JMU, they are great this year, we all knew this was going to be a weird year with all the young talent and new QB, just go look at the posts forcasting this year. The ROI to a coaching change after this year will never outweigh the risk with what could be next year, regardless of what happens the next 3 games. jMU is having a special year, sux for them it won’t matter, for us, keep building, retain consistency, go bowling, and kick ass going forward.

Sorry I did not immediately respond, went to a function, watched NFL, then slept. If you ever been to a function at Grandview, the Chancellor's house, or at a football game, previous to this school year, the Chancellor would even joke about this. As far as evidence, she would even talk about that subject, but high ranking faculty are all to eager to share the story about this summer's vacation.
