why does it say RV James Madison on the schedule at appstsate sports.com? what does the RV mean?

that makes a ton of sense now. i was thinking of everything but that.
Do you know what the SP means in SP+ team rathings, and what makes it a “+” as i assume SP+ is better than just plain SP.
I literally just read about this today.
S&P is an index created by Bill Connelly. S is success rate and P is points per play. The + is just the success rate metric has more in its algorithm.
The quick answer is if a team is +8 in SP, that means they are 8 S&P points better than the average team.

Hope it ends up on 2 I don't get U
I will admit I have watched about as many APP games this year as I have in the last 30 years combined. I have really enjoyed it.
It should still be on ESPN+.
Could you explain your work on that one, Hap?

That makes perfect sense. Thanks.

What does +8 get me as a consumer of that number? Can it be converted to a spread I can wager on or if the SP number is positive the team is going to win based on stats at least?

That I am not sure of. I do not bet on sports so no idea. It is a predictive index more than a resume index though, so I think it's safe to say if a team has a +8 and their opponent is a +3, I would imagine that means the +8 team is expected to win.
Also, while the index was created by Bill Connelly, it's main user is ESPN -- who employs Bill. Even if I were a betting man, that alone would make me not use it to place my bets.

I don't bet on sports either (beyond horse racing and when jai alai was operting in Tampa I bet there also.)

0 isn't helping a bit on the offensive end other than turning the ball over

Just don’t go 4+ minutes without a score and we can win this one. Brown has to take care of the ball.

I know how frustrating X can be offensively but he's the best on ball defender on the team and look at what our defense is currently doing

Too risky. Can’t score outside 2’.

Up 14 with 10 turnovers is wild. If we can cut down on those, this should be easy.

Hey we haven't missed a free throw!! Great defensive effort so far and our half court offense looks better without jacking endless 3's. Amazing

I absolutely hate the mid major poll. Who decides what teams are mid majors?

In a tough stretch right now. Went from up 16 to giving up turnover after turnover, can’t hit free throws (Gregory just missed 2) and let the crowd back into it. 15 first half turnovers.
AWFUL way to end a half.
