All but Troy could have turned , perhaps , on one play that we didn’t make or the other guys did. Of course we won a few like that on our end.Saint3333 wrote: ↑Fri Jun 07, 2024 8:36 amAgreed. Joey throw a few ill-advised picks in a few games, but he had more passing TD to take the lead than anyone in the nation.
UNCCH - rush defense wasn't great early in the season, very evenly matched teams could have gone either way
WYO - we played in a manner that Coach Bohl loved, we were the better team just not that day, with 200 more yards and 27 to 7 first downs that one hurt
CCU - attention to detail at the end, CCU had one of their better offensive days against us unfortunately and we didn't rush effectively
ODU - the one game I wasn't able to attend/watch
Troy - they were just better in the trenches

Well Robinson has that ability to be the best receiver we’ve seen in a while. If Joey and him get rolling agian this could be something special.

K Rob coming out of the slot is going to be a problem for many teams...mountaineerman wrote: ↑Fri Jun 07, 2024 7:26 pmWell Robinson has that ability to be the best receiver we’ve seen in a while. If Joey and him get rolling agian this could be something special.

I couldn't even be mad about that Wyoming game. They blocked a field goal for a touchdown for the first time in their team's history. When that happens against you, the football gods are not on your side, and you just have to accept that.Stonewall wrote: ↑Fri Jun 07, 2024 1:39 pmAll but Troy could have turned , perhaps , on one play that we didn’t make or the other guys did. On the bright side, that play will go down in history for the Brown and Gold Faithful, just like that block against Michigan and the Black and Gold Faithful.

We have a better overall record then they do and they have played 1192 games, we have played 1048.JohnnyBurrito wrote: ↑Sat Jun 08, 2024 4:56 pmMy definition of bright side only includes good things.AppWyo wrote: ↑Sat Jun 08, 2024 3:27 pmOn the bright side, that play will go down in history for the Brown and Gold Faithful, just like that block against Michigan and the Black and Gold Faithful.

Robinson is from Brevard a local WNC fellow . I’m from Hendersonville 10 miles east. A lot of my subcontractors played/ or know him and say he was the best athlete that came through there.mountaineerman wrote: ↑Fri Jun 07, 2024 7:26 pmWell Robinson has that ability to be the best receiver we’ve seen in a while.
