Baby steps, let's focus on the uniform reveal. Will it be Wednesday or Thursday or is Loggains keeping that under wraps too?

Re: Game Notes vs Charlotte and game discussion
A lot of high profile teams keep things "under wraps" as much as possible. We are used to the App State way where we have access to "inside info" and what goes on behind the curtain. These types of things can lead to leaks and issues come game time. I'm all for keeping things under wraps and keeping the other teams guessing. App State and Coach Dlo have invested a lot into this voyage into uncharted territory and for it to work ..... Everything has to go as planned. That might mean we don't get the juicy tidbits we want. App fans have always wanted to "know" and to win. These days you can't really have both. I'll take the later of the two and I'll also trust Coach Dlo until he shows that he's incapable of doing the job.

Re: Game Notes vs Charlotte and game discussion
I’ve never really cared to see but how many college football teams make public announcements as to who their staters (namely the quarterback) will be for a game? As fans we just want to know stuff but at the end of the day does it really matter when nearly half or more of your roster is new and almost know one knows anything about the quarterbacks on the roster? The very limited game film to me is pointless. Guys were on different teams with different coaches so it’s completely new. If we or really any team especially at our level can jell what amounts to a pickup game and get 8 wins that’s big. Anything beyond that will be amazing in my opinion. We have “expectations” most of which have become unrealistic considering how players come and go so hopefully it all comes together.
I’m not sure if I’ve seen it anywhere but do we actually have any true freshmen who could crack the two deep?

Well one reason to wait is to see in anyone hits the portal the day before the game…..

I think the key is going to be how the new 4 man line does their job and contains the outside runs.

I was at the alumni event tonight and asked about Fridays event that is full. They capped it at 300 for costs and any App fan that shows up won’t be turned away.

What do they know that the rest of us don't? Any other suspected injuries that haven't been reported? QB news?

Movement at this stage is usually driven by the public. And it’s always good to go against the public.appbroker20 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 28, 2025 12:48 pmWhat do they know that the rest of us don't? Any other suspected injuries that haven't been reported? QB news?

The rationalization of UNCC fans of why they haven't sold out their allotment is hilarious. My favorite is "App fans only have one chance to see their team in CLT, ours have 7 opportunities". No your fan base is so apathetic they can't drive 30 minutes or too cheap to pay $80 for a game.

RichRod has 6 QBs listed on his 2-Deep - I'm not sure any first year HC at a new program has a detailed specific 2-deep
"Montani Semper Liberi"

Re: Game Notes vs Charlotte and game discussion
they still have hundreds of seats open for the UNC game. I'm sure they'll give those to students so its a "sell out" but damn. You can't even sell out your stadium for the state flagship ACC team you ostensibly "hate". When App hosted UNC it was the 2nd highest priced ticket in the country next to Ohio State-Notre DameSaint3333 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 28, 2025 12:57 pmThe rationalization of UNCC fans of why they haven't sold out their allotment is hilarious. I just saw UNCC's first four games are at home (yeah I am counting the B of A game as a home game for them).BallantyneApp wrote: ↑Thu Aug 28, 2025 1:18 pmthey still have hundreds of seats open for the UNC game.
