The phrase "the more you tighten your grip, the more slips through your fingers" comes to mind when pondering how so little info has been coming out of the program this year.

Just let us reach the redzone and then take the ball away.Seattleapp wrote: ↑Fri Oct 03, 2025 8:12 pmI don’t think that’s been a problem thus far for our opponents

Keep an eye on any NCAA eligibility changes that could affect that.

Would love to run the Qb some to open up other options. The most success we have ever had all started with running qb.

Re: Kohl starting?
That’s an element I am looking forward to as well. We may not run the QB intentionally, but he is more mobile and able to extend plays on the fly. Right now, we have to be somewhat careful to see how he can absorb hits. Until you get your first one, you don’t really know.CharlotteApp05 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 04, 2025 7:32 amWould love to run the Qb some to open up other options. Would be a great element. Given his height did not realize he was fleet of football. Typically not the case.ASUFan4863 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 04, 2025 7:39 amThat’s an element I am looking forward to as well. Re: Kohl starting?
They are definitely adding a 5th year but they really need to let it take effect for seniors next year to clear out the last of the COVID super seniors and expand the rosters to 105. Due to staying at 85 and allowing a 5th year for COVID has really hurt JUCO and HS recruiting and sent way too many D1 caliber players to small schools.ASUFan4863 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 04, 2025 7:26 amKeep an eye on any NCAA eligibility changes that could affect that.

Re: Kohl starting?
THIS SEASON????
Before the first game you/we had reason to be skeptical. After the first game we had ample hope for a grand turnaround. Then it was like the cat knocked everything off the table top upon each of the next games. I don't care that we had key injuries....there is no excuse given our schedule. WE SHOULD BE AT 4-0 right now. Boise was a quality opponent and on the road but they are not Boise past. This coaching staff APPsalutely amazed me in the beginning now I'm like who got them drunk and mugged them?
We desperately need our ALL Black at Home culture back and like AC/DC need a Flick of the Switch moment get our culture back to the days of Moore and FINISH....FINISH STRONG.
This cats derriere crap has got to go NOW....time to eat some nails and lay some spikes!

Re: Kohl starting?
We should not be at 4-0 right now but I agree with everything else you stated. I don’t feel like getting into the past because today is a new opportunity. It is a new season. How we play today will set the tone for the heart of our conference schedule. We have a couple of new pieces ready to make an impact. I am excited.CornCobPipes wrote: ↑Sat Oct 04, 2025 9:17 amTHIS SEASON????

I am including Dozier in the “new pieces” category because last week was not a good representation of talent for anyone.

Re: Kohl starting?
Hope he gets it done today. Definitely miss when we had a mobile qb. In the college game, it’s needed. Just take care of the football and hopefully his receivers catch the ball and we win this game.
