Re: Recruiting, 2014
After looking @ our newest commit Mykelti Armstrong he has great football quickness. He comes out of his breaks as fast as you could ask for, and looks to have a knack to find that little hole then he really gets on his horses and goes.. Great pick-up coaching staff!!
I don't know if we will get Meadors or Eaton. But I am sure of one thing the ball is going to be flying and whom ever is @ a receivers poistion is going to be glad they were giving the chance to play in this offense. Knowing you have some of the best Receivers coaches in the nation. Along with a offense that is geared to put up points who wouldn't want to play for US.
There seems to be one thing I have noticed about of our Recruits they "AlwaysAttack", and speed for days.
But we don't need to forget with all this hype around this 2014 class there are guys right now on campus busting their butts, and it starts with them! With this new adventure they are the foundation the corner stone and don't let us forget them, as they are what has made us what were in the past, and they are the leaders to what we are to become in the future.
Thanks to all who have helped with the Recruit list, and Firemoose WOW you have gone above and beyond.

Re: Recruiting, 2014
I think it would be beneficial to all if our fans stopped tweeting meadors and eaton especially but all recruits as well. It's ridiculous, these are 17&18 year old kids trying to decide what's best for them and their future. Leave it to the coaches and sit back and enjoy watching recruits roll in. Give it a rest guys

So, since people are withholding information on here ; so that the pay bulletin boards can break their information, so that some people can make a few bucks, should we mention that they might want to check Temple's Rivals page or headlines; or are we not mentioning those we lose, but not report on those committing. Getting kind of confusing.

Most everybody on here understands what's at play here. I'm sorry you don't.GoApps70 wrote:So, since people are withholding information on here ; so that the pay bulletin boards can break their information, so that some people can make a few bucks, should we mention that they might want to check Temple's Rivals page or headlines; or are we not mentioning those we lose, but not report on those committing. I would think that any of our targets who decide to go elsewhere is fair game to post on here or elsewhere.

Re: Recruiting, 2014
I think it has more to do with trying to keep some semblance of order and not spreading information that the staff may not want out there yet. It seems we already had one slip out. It is quite possible that offers and commitments at this point could have a negative effect on those we are still pursuing. Literally everything that gets posted on 247 makes it way over here. I don't think it is a matter of few people making a few bucks trying to keep a wrap on information.GoApps70 wrote:So, since people are withholding information on here ; so that the pay bulletin boards can break their information, so that some people can make a few bucks, should we mention that they might want to check Temple's Rivals page or headlines; or are we not mentioning those we lose, but not report on those committing. This is kind of piggybacking the thread but on tomorrow's App State TV broadcast, look forward to Spring Ball dates being announced. They might not announce a Charlotte practice, but it's being worked on.

Correction on this. It's now Latrell Gibbs at 7:40 am. Long day just got longer.firemoose wrote:Our first player (Chandler Greer) is set to sign at 8:00 am. Shaedon Meadors is not set to decide until 3:45 pm. It's going to be a long day, especially since we won't know for sure about our highest rated commit until nearly 4:00. We'll be on it all day and will do our best to keep everyone up to date and happy. Good Luck to Us All.

Hey moose.....is the "timing" an issue with the NCAA.....IOW, could a kid fax his stuff in at 12:01 and it be counted as 2-5-14?firemoose wrote:Correction on this. It's now Latrell Gibbs at 7:40 am. Re: Recruiting, 2014
I've honestly never checked to see if there was a start time. I'll look into it but I seem to recall a few years ago someone doing just that. I may be having a middle age moment but I swear I remember it. Then again it could be age.asutrnr81 wrote:Hey moose.....is the "timing" an issue with the NCAA.....IOW, could a kid fax his stuff in at 12:01 and it be counted as 2-5-14?firemoose wrote:Correction on this. They don't all schedule a time either. Think they can start at least by 7, maybe earlier. I believe many take care of the fax at the start of the school day. Best to just plan on pulling an all-nighter tonight.firemoose wrote:Correction on this. It's now Latrell Gibbs at 7:40 am. Already planning on doing that. Preparing my "He's a Mountaineer!!!" and "______signed with _____" pages.EastHallApp wrote:They don't all schedule a time either. Nothing on the NLI page says you can't but since conferences HQ's have the NLI's sent to them after the school to confirm everything is correct and file them they may set the time.

Since I'm staying up tonight I thought you all might enjoy this one. This is Emiere Scaife's sister. She was the one that was saying that he was too good for App State and he should go back to Atlanta. I thought it was pretty funny when I saw it.

Why my brother couldn't commit to App State. Who finna drive to $#%damn Georgia every week.
