Can we all be honest here for a minute please?
90% of the players have ZERO chance to play football on Sundays. Yes App has started to produce more NFL players...but cmon lets be realistic. This is not a SEC school where you play football because it will become your occupation after you leave.
After 90% of these kids graduate they will never play another down of organized football, let alone make it to the NFL.
So that being said....what is more important for them long term? Playing or staying healthy and getting an education for when they are done at App?
BTW...its about to be done up here on the mountain anyway. I know there is always someone who says "i have inside info blah blah blah" so take it all with a grain of salt...BUT obviously people who are on the board work at app and live in boone and know plenty of people who also work there.
App has 46 beds free for covid cases......The hotel they are putting them all up at is near capacity. Once they run out of places to put them then its done. Campus will be closed and on line classes will be 100%. 46 spots left. Keep up with the public dashboard app publishes here and watch the numbers go up
