UNC Holes ideas for finding money for players

Order of ACC programs in this era:

Most attractive tier:
ND, Clemson, FSU, UNCCH, UVA

Second:
Miami, GT, Duke, Stanford, Cal, SMU (these have the money if they want to stay in this tier)

Third:
NCSU, VT, UL

Last:
Wake, Pitt, BC, Cuse

Miami , if anyone cares , I’m told is on the outside looking in. No one other than the B12 seems interested. So UNC , Clemmy and FSU are “ working together “. I would think the Virginia tv market is attractive .Could it be that the P3 each get a presence in NC ? I’m told “there are a thousand and one scenarios”that could unfold as well as that the timeframe might be sooner than later. Networks are running models to determine what generates the best ROI and how to get their piece of the pie.

Kinda crazy to me that FSU is higher on the totem pole than Miami.

Miami is in the better tv market, already AAU, has ability to spend big money. They aren’t as elite as Duke Stanford and Northwestern but they are in the next tier. If I’m the big 10 I’m looking at Miami hard.

Miami has a to larger TV market..but not college...it is a pro sports town. FSU carries a better TV market overall in Florida or Miami I would think..

I don’t know, just sharing the info or comments, that I can. The focus was on UNC of course. No real mention at all of Cal , Stanford or the other outliers.
