If so, another massive bust as far as playing time at App from that huge OL portal class we brought in a couple years ago.
Guys retiring due to injury are not and should not be considered “busts”. Injuries are part of the game and if those keep you from reaching potential, then to say he’s a bust is categorically incorrect.
I heard he was not as good as we hoped prior to injury but otherwise I would not include an injury as a bust in the sense you are thinking of. That portal class overall was a huge bust for us though. We signed 6 in his portal class and only 2 were good on the field. Neither of those 2 stayed very long either. We have to do better than hit on 33% of our OL signings. I hope the new staff is able to improve on those numbers.
