I heard that too....He only played in 2 games, so he could get a redshirt, if he hasn't had one already and a few other factors. As for the pending charges, noway will he get out of the drinking and driving under age....I say redshirt him and let him do what he needs with the pending charge and get it behind him....This wouldn't be an issue at all if he wasn't driving...

Once you see any game action you can not be redshirted. You can get a medical redshirt if you have played in less than 20% of the games, so that would be possible. The problem with that issue is that he is not playing based on a suspension for an arrest, not an injury. Doubt the NCAA would grant a medical redshirt to a kid that got arrested and not injured. Of course, if he were really injured and it could be documented to the NCAA then a medical redshirt would be an option. I am unaware that he is injured.

Thanks for clearing that up. I always thought you could play two games and then redshirt. I remember Quick playing against Michigan and then the first home game, then was redshirted. Guess he got hurt during that game, I just didn't remember it.

Guess I'll keep quiet about things I thought I knew. LOL

I do not know which thread to post this in....

so first: I am not a football coach and did not stay at a Holiday Inn Express....but

Jerry Moore did very little coaching last year so the assistants we have now were pretty much in charge last year. I LOVE JM....just a fact.

Scott is a lot different on the field than in the coaches box and has to rely on a person we have NEVER had at ASU calling the plays from the box as Ledford is on the the field too!

JLJ may not be hurt but like RGIII he is not the same yet and confidence is a really big deal.

There is little (except LJL) to no team leadership "APParent on the sidelines. Emotion is a big part of this game.

There are lots of people looking for comfort areas....and that takes time.

Please, please, please be creative enough to have a play with the QB under center with the RB running down hill with a tight end or H-back or fullback leading the play and get a dang yard on 3rd or 4th and 1. We gave up as a coaching staff on the 4th and 1....#embarrassing.

The last thing.....I honest believe that we are going to be fine but I would make sure we are:
1. Paying attention as a staff to the little things not necessarily football related.
2. Find someone the kids can hang their hat on and give him some leadership opportunities.
3. Do not give up on this crowd. I can't! I was here when it was a lot worse!
