I think that despite the relatively easy schedule so far our defense is legit. Monroe has been gashed by some teams and I don't think that their film study on us will show much. If they stack the box to stop Cox we can go vertical. I believe that our game plan last week was two fold- give Lamb a shot of confidence by letting him throw and to let opponents know that we are by no means one dimensional. I think we need get our wide outs more involved as well. Meadors is a beast and needs more throws his way. We also seem to be incorporating our tight ends more which is big in my book. I see a defense that wants to stay on top and is goal driven.

I've been pretty bad at predictions thus far this season, but that's not going to stop me.

I think App State wins the battle in the trenches and that opens up some opportunities in the secondary on both sides of the ball. It seems there is a pretty good chance for Gibbs to get his 6th pick, maybe more.

losing their top wide receiver, probably their best player, has killed their offense, they don't run the ball very well, and they really only have one dangerous receiver left, look for them to "donk and dink" us down the field, but their defense is decent.
