We've obviously got some holes. When we made the move to the 3-4 defense 2 years ago with an eye on getting all those "tweener" LB/DE types we seemed to be able to load up on into the action, little did we know we wouldnt have enough LBs to fill the starting 4, let alone fill a 2 deep two short seasons later.

We seem to have some great options at safety, I hope Gray gets a look at LB. He's got a perfect frame, speed, and hits like a ton of bricks. At 6'3 he isnt likely to have any problems covering a TE either.

Never know how it will play out but I believe we have the potential to do much better than .500. New QB is the biggest concern for me but in terms of competition, I think we can play with most. It is actually good to have some games out there that aren't necessarily "should wins" for a change.
Bobby Lambs kid is supposed to be the real deal. We will find out soon enough.
I think we have more depth than most people think, but with injuries and other issues, we haven't been able to develop it too much. I would love to see Lamb's kid step up and become the man!
If we have depth at QB they must have been on vacation during the spring practice in Charlotte and the spring game in Boone.
Sorry for the slow reply, but yeah....QB play wasn't steller, but that was our #3 & #4 QB's wasn't it? #1&2 were injured, and we have a potential stud freshman coming in (Lamb). I think we have more depth than most of our peers in FCS and even in G5 FBS.

Yes it was 3 and 4 and that is a good point but with our offense we are always going to have QB injuries so I hope a number 3 steps up. Maybe Lamb will be the guy.

Winner Winner!

What's year two look like?

Anywhere from 12-1 to no worse than 9-4. I'll give a more specific prediction in a few more months.

App is a FB school and this is a FB thread obviously, but I am proud of the fact that at this moment in time we are leading in the Bubas Cup points. Some sports were a bit weak but overall I am impressed, and even withoug MSOC would would still be up a few points.
This is my very generic signature added to each post.
