The games change as time passes, the rules change, the objectives change, etc.. How would these NBAers today fare with an armbar in their back as they came down the court? How many dunks would they have if they knew Wilt or Gilmore or Rambis was waiting underneath? How many yards would Warfield or Rice have if they were the target 15x a game? I saw a video of Pablo Torre talking about how sports journalism is dying because no one is actually doing journalism. It's all just arguments and "hot takes." Very few people are actually doing reporting and fact-finding for the fans. The hot take, rage bait gets the clicks, which drives the revenue, so that's all we get anymore.

Been working on negotiations since just after their Oklahoma game. There were a lot of reasons why it was never going to happen. Just like when I said Grier's dad is not coming to join the staff. A lot of reasons there as well.

My gut tells me that DLo was consulted on both ends about South Carolina’s OC role. He worked with Briles and Sellers, so who better to talk to than your former coach who has experience with your potential future coach.
