Good idea, just didn’t have the arm. We gave that to them. They did nothing on us all game but 1 run. We lost that.

I dont even want to hear old mumbles after-game coach's press conference.

I think I understand why Joey is at this level.

Extremely talented, but doesn't have it between ears. If he did, he's likely at a P5.

This up there with Southern Miss road loss a decade or so ago.

Shouldn't the ball have been placed at the 2 yard line?
Not in college
I've seen pass interference in the end zone be placed at the 2 yard line many of times in college. 1 yard line in NFL
Then they did it wrong. It's always been a 15 yard penalty..

Prediction thread, I predicted this! After seeing their coach in his weekly news conference I knew some how he would figure out a way. But then he didn't have to, we did it to ourselves.

I respectfully disagree. This one is another loss on Clark.

The only thing I would change based on being on the sidelines tonight is Joey to throw the perfectly setup screen to Noel at the end instead of chucking it up....

I think what is so sad is that it always feels like in these games we are going to always find a way to lose. I was dreading the kick bc I knew something would go wrong. Why is that? Sigh...

Outplayed Wyoming - should have been up 21-7 at halftime unfortunately, have to score TD's on the road vs good teams. (the lateral play calls first half turnover and 3rd quarter was a penalty not sure what to make of those) Penalties and officials were awful both ways, game was funky and no flow.

App state loses on a blocked FG wow, usually the Mountaineers benefit from a block FG.

Take a peak at SC’s record against .500 or better teams…

He doesn’t run the offense, or the defense, and apparently doesn’t manage as well. What’s worse, blowing 28-3 or 19-7 in the 4th to a team that can’t move the ball?

We played conservatively all night expecting their offense to be better and our defense to be worse. That kept them in the game and we lost.

The shots in the end zone were bold, but ended up biting us. Very disappointing.

All of our goals are still in front of us!
This is true. I just really don’t see Clark’s learning curve progression. So while I agree, goals are still in front of us, that’s only as good as Clark’s ability to learn and lead.

This one hurts - no offensive touchdowns - dominated the game and still come up short. Seems like the QB has regressed some over the past few games. Also, we are going to run Noel into the ground if we are not careful.

We also seem to struggle when we need yards. Almost as if we do not trust the passing game anymore.

Just an off the cuff view.

I have supported the coaching staff.

Worst game plan I have ever seen. Not saying fire them tonight, but if we don’t make a bowl game they have to go.
totally agree, defensive gameplan was terrible

Yes 100%. This is on Clark. We play not to lose instead of playing to win. That is on Clark.
