Harrington will give it a go during spring and see how it goes. Up to him after that. He has to decide if the risk of a long term injury/issue is worth playing. I would love to see him but completely understand if he's not back come fall.

I don’t think that commitment to service starts until year three at the academy.

Pretty certain Reece Lawson and Andrew Jordan were late adds to the roster last year 2022 season. They remain on it this year. Just looking at the first 10 names out of 38 on the departures is alarming. We lost some studs. Hopefully have some studs in the 27 that we brought in.

We should be fine on the DL. We are three deep across the front. OL is a bit concerning but it isn’t as bad as it looks on paper. You typically want 8 or 9 guys that you can work through a season. We have two guys that can play center in Helms and Everett. 5 guys that can play guard. The two above along with Daley, Bucky Williams and Seth Williams. Lindsay can work himself into that group with some good work in the Spring and Fall. Three guys that can play tackle in Ramsey, Samuel and Bucky. I imagine that we will look for some tackles in the Portal to build depth.

What concerns me the most (after QB), is OL. Looks like we lost and entire offensive line ( I know some did not start) and we only have 2 new o-linemen.

We lost two starters on OL (but they are big time starters at the tackles) and a spot backup that was projected as a starter this year. If we can't find some bodies to shore up the tackles, it could be a long season.

That said, I am confident the staff knows what we have in line for the tackle position that we have not seen yet. We are thin there for sure and will probably grab a couple more guys there via transfer portal after spring ball.
