I assume you are referring to a big RB, since I'm pretty sure Kevin Richardson would qualify as a stud and Marcus Cox appears well on his way.

Offense has changed since Settle's day. Spread RBs need to be fast. If you can find a 220 lb. back with the quickness of a smaller guy, that's great. But those guys are rare and tend to get snapped up by the big boys.

According to Upshaw's twitter account he is over 200 pounds now. Scott also said he thought Cox could add 10-15 in the offseason.

ODU is going to be a strong program.

Hey JMU might want to hurry up and get off the pot.

I was thinking the same thing as I read about some of ODU's OL and DL recruits...6' 3" to 6" 6" guys at or over 300 lbs. I'm having flashbacks to a certain home playoff game when Villanova's brutes pushed us all over KBS.

i'm curious to see if this happens too. i watched him in the shrine bowl on ESPN3 and the SC team OL had their hands full with him. i think it will come down to how Burns, Small, Milhouse and Fernandez develop at the NT position

I saw the same post and was updating the Main Page. We've still got some offers out there that we have to see if they decide to pull anyone else in.

As for Edge-Campbell I think the staff will wait until everyone is here to see where they play several of our current players and the recruits out of this class. Nice to have the chess pieces to move around but hopefully we make the right decisions with these kids and, once they move, keep them there instead of moving them around each year like we have in the past. Didn't work very well at the FCS level and will not work at the FBS level.

Guess this is why we lost Canty and some worry about others.

Does Renfrow know that Clemson has commitments from 4 four star WRs for 2014?

ATH/RB Nikia Cathey (5′ 8″ 175) of Westwood High School in Memphis, TN has committed to App. The 24/7 and ESPN 3 star and Rivals high 2 star was a visitor this weekend and came without an offer. He had reported additional offers from WKU, Austin Peay, Indiana, MTSU, Mississippi State, NIU, USA, and UAB. Most had him projected to Indiana. I was watching his account yesterday and when it looked like he was having a good visit I slipped in, built a player page with video, and put it on the Main Page. I just didn't say anything about it yet. I'll be moving him to the commits section in a few minutes.

Saint,

That would be interesting to see for sure. I know we only have 3 commits from Florida, but I really like that Ponce and Co. are recruiting that area well. The staff has done a great job recruiting all over. I am glad they have made an emphasis with Georgia, because there is so much talent in that state. It also helps that Georgia Tech and Georgia Southern run the triple option as well.

Will GSU's new coach move them away from the TO?

He is going to run a variation of the TO. The way he is planning on running it is out of the pistol formation. This will require them to have a QB who is at least an average passer.

I posted a few days back in the thread that, according to my list, we had offered 29 in NC with 2 commits. That is still the same as of today. Not counting Ford, McGuire, and Dillard, who are all originally from SC, we have 22 offers to recruits from SC with 2 commits (very possible we'll add one more to the commits list, but still waiting to see). Count the others and that becomes 25 with 5 commits.
