As I told some friends via text when they heard about the people hurt and said it's crazy to rush the field against Troy. I agree with that sentiment typically, but the emotion of that ending didn't matter who we were playing. We could have been playing Watauga Middle School and got that play and the students would have rushed the field. Hell, I saw several older alumni rushing the field. It had nothing to do with the opponent. It had everything to do with how it happened.

Football is a game with tons of emotion -- on and off the field. That's what makes it what it is.

I hope everyone that got hurt isn't seriously injured.
