App vs Iowa St

Iowa st is coming off two thumpings from Missouri and Milwaukee. Lost by over 30 points combined.

It looks like nearly nothing worked for them in either game, but poor rebounding in particular did them in. They're a fairly young team this season, but I don't follow the Big 12 until close to tournament time anyway.

I imagine they'll be amped up coming into the game. "God forbid" they drop one to App.

Any of ya'll traveling to Myrtle for the tournament?

I was getting ready to say the same thing. Every time he says it right, he corrects himself.

Even if he finally gets it right, he's way out of his league as an announcer. Feel sorry for the guy. Think he's there because of his connection to Puerto Rico tournament.

Fast paced game so far. Would like to see us get some offense other than 3's, although that seems to be only way we can consistently score thus far.

Getting out rebounded 23-19. Allowing the Cyclones to shoot over 52% from the field while App is 35%. Team is 8-23 from behind the arc with Shabazz being 4-8 from 3PT land.

Old man time- hate the 3 point shot. Not advocating for peach baskets and hook shots but the love affair is ridiculous. Tried to watch some pro ball last night and it’s just a three fest.

Line should be the same at all levels. Once you reach high school baseball it’s 60’6” and 90’. Football dimensions are the same. A kid can go from high school to the NBA in two years and the line moves way back. Make it way more of a challenge.

Don't think HS should be NBA distance but definitely agree college/NBA.
