Moved to Thursday because of a "scheduling conflict."
Hmmmm. Could he be meeting with an FBS conference commissioner/university presidents?
Re: Cobb on ESPN730 at 5:15 today
Probably more to do with the coaching search - or he's golfing with Satterfield as they "work out a contract".Gonzo wrote:

Who knows. It definitely head coach search or FBS conference related. Considering what ever it is just "came up" so suddenly he had to postpone an ESPN interview with 24 hours notice, I'm leaning toward the later.appgrad wrote:Probably more to do with the coaching search - or he's golfing with Satterfield as they "work out a contract".Gonzo wrote:

What ever became of this interview? Did it happen? The board has been quiet about this. If it did happen, can somebody give us a synopsis? I'm guessing he did his usual talk without saying anything or the board would have blown up.

Cobb did say that he was believes in regional rivalries instead of getting us into a conference that plays all over the place.

And yet, as some assert, he is supposedly fixated on Conference USA. Those two things don't go together.Deano wrote:Cobb did say that he was believes in regional rivalries instead of getting us into a conference that plays all over the place.

Things are quiet everywhere. Not sure if that's a good sign or bad sign (whichever side of the fence one is on). My guess is, the SBC is waiting to see what happens with the Big East, but we'll see.ASUGoose wrote:Has anyone heard anything recently about a FBS invite??
