Our Apps, following yesterday's 3-1 setback in College Park, spent most of the day today in Washington, DC learning more about our nation's history. They will be in Norfolk tonight preparing for tomorrow's late afternoon match with the Monarchs of ODU.
The Apps are 1-2-0 on the young season with a lopsided win over Campbell and lopsided losses to High Point and Maryland. ODU is 2-0-1 with lopsided wins over Mount St. Mary's and Towson and a 1-1 draw with ECU. The Apps were picked eighth in the SBC, while ODU is the # four pick in C-USA.
The Monarchs are led by senior forward Iris Achterhof of The Netherlands--a former C-USA Freshman-of-the-Year and a candidate for 2018 C-USA Offensive-Player-of-the-Year.
