His politics just validate what the rest of his commentary already tells me, he can only regurgitate what others are saying, right wrong or indifferent.

He's a sensationalist, in that he does/says things to get a reaction. I would not at all be surprised if he intentionally mispronounced Appalachian on purpose, simply to get a rise. He's from the Jerry Jones school of publicity - any is good.

I liked him on SportsCenter in the 90s but he has become too much of a sensationalist and his politics are so messed up. I don't watch him anymore either. Not saying our name correctly is either trying to be insulting or just plain stupid and not an informed journalist.
