Boone PD on GMA

This video of a Boone Police officer falling on ice was on Good Morning America this morning. I've watched the video about 7 times.

Ha, the only time I've seen them move faster than that is when they were coming after me for setting off fireworks on the 50 yard line!

Did the same thing many times myself in Boone. My daughter slid down the hill on stadium drive her freshman year at App. She never fell but had to wait until the afternoon for the sidewalk to clear up enough so she could get back up the hill.

Things must have changed a lot in the past few years. I never had any problem with the Boone, nor campus police either while I attended there or since. Neither did my son while he was there. I found them to be very professional as well as competent.

I was hoping it was the fine oficer that wrote me a citation back in 1986. Funny, but not the one I had hoped.
