App Music Alum
So our music program is one of the best ever. A lot of our alum who didn't become teachers went in to the performance industry. Well, lets just say covid pretty much killed the industry in the short term. Lots of alums are essentially out of work as there are no tours and few are recording anything. If you know of any side projects of any of our alumni that we could show some support for then drop the links here and we can all check it out.
The one I am posting is an App alum who moved to Nashville and worked his way up in the country industry and has played for some big hit bands, toured the globe, and all that jazz. He and a couple industry pals started up a sports podcast as a side project. Give it a listen if you want.

Oh cool. Music alum here. I'm familiar with who he is.
Thanks for sharing!
Re: App Music Alum
As I read the OP I thought he must be talking about my cousin but then saw it was someone else with a very similar story.
I miss being able to see concerts

Re: App Music Alum
Thats just for the thread whose name cannot be spoken. This thread is about pushing our music performance alums out there. We've bragged about our band on here many times but we never talk enough about what our music alums are doing for their careers to further the good name of App or in this case, creating side projects because its a rough time for performance people right now.NewApp wrote: ↑Sat Aug 15, 2020 10:49 amappdaze wrote: ↑Thu Aug 13, 2020 7:49 pmSo our music program is one of the best ever. Take a listen to Darin and Brooke Aldridge. She is from Avery County and he is from Cherryville, N C. Both App alums that can bring some great music!
Re: App Music Alum
Knew of them but did not realize they went to App. A lot of talented people come through the music program.
