Jason O'Keefe rebounds at Robert Morris after App State shuttered the program he rebuilt

Great feature story in SOCCER AMERICA on former App State MSOC head coach Jason O'Keefe. He's taking over the MSOC program at Robert Morris (Pittsburg) and his team will be moving to the Horizon League with Cleveland State University, the University of Detroit Mercy, the University of Illinois Chicago, Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis, Northern Kentucky University, Oakland University, Purdue University Fort Wayne, the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Wright State University and Youngstown State University.

This is in no way good PR for App State, but it is for Jason. He didn't deserve the 2020 syndrome that temporarily wrecked his life, his career and those of his staff and players. He's most deserving of another shot. He adjusted quickly to mountain wind chills and a small college town. Now he gets to adjust to the wind chills of the Great Lakes and to life in metro USA. O'KEEFE NAMED RMU MEN'S SOCCER HEAD COACH

Moon Township, Pa. – RMU Vice President and Director of Athletics Chris King '94 announced Monday that Jason O'Keefe has been named head coach of the men's soccer program.
"Selecting Jason O'Keefe as our next head coach sets the course for a new era of success in all phases of our men's soccer program," King said. "Jason was highly recommended to me by several of the most reputable head coaches in collegiate soccer. He brings an incredible record of success and experience as a head coach and his involvement with championship level soccer programs."
