JMU best in SunBelt 1st Year up from FCS
JMU is a top notch program, but they came into what we thought was a vastly improved SunBelt and had immediate success. What does this say about the health of App State’s program? JMU certainly seems better coached. Also, watching a few other FCS teams from our old SoCon, I could argue Furman and Samford would give us very close games. Our program needs a deep assessment at every level: coaching, recruiting, culture, leadership development and player development. Continuous improvement by benchmarking the best and most innovative programs in college football - is a must!
