Not a portal guy, but Clemson just flipped Coastal's QB 2025 commit. That's real late in the cycle too. Hate that we had QB's flip, but the silver lining was at least we had time to recover to find another Qb.

Davis has been the most consistent defensive player this year. I think he could be a P4 player imo.

I would hate to lose some of these players as well but I was just spit balling based on areas I think we target in the portal.

Castle can return. Clark could stay because idk what would really be there for him with his back to back injuries.

Arnholt has had a ton of playtime so if he leaves it's b/c he can't cut it... He's improved over the year so I'm interested what he could become.

Why would Calhoun leave? Playing time will go up next year

Tucker can go...there are a number of young and I imagine hungry WRs like Short, Leon, Fowles & Barret that have been working with Billy Wiles all season.

Castle has been a true Mountaineer and given his all. If he has finished his degree and wants to play elsewhere then that's great. It's what the portal should be for. This is what Nate Noel did and I'm happy he is doing what he is doing.

I can't say the exact same for Jalen McLeod at Auburn but the guy clearly has what it takes to start in the SEC and to me he will always be a Mountaineer first.
