Re: Graduation Day 2025
My high school buddy went to Duke and got involved with their sports information department as a student. Smart, in that he got see all the good games for free, even the epic Maryland/NCSU 103-100 game. Anyway, as Duke was playing NCSU in Cameron, someone from the SI department handed him a note to give to the PA announcer: "May I have your attention please. There is a red and white tractor in the parking lot. Your lights are on."AppinVA wrote: ↑Fri May 09, 2025 8:43 amAs our tractors go rolling along?Bigdaddyg1 wrote: ↑Fri May 09, 2025 8:42 amAs we were leaving Reynolds (second of his graduations Saturday) I told my wife, now I never want to hear that damn fight song ever again!!BambooRdApp wrote: ↑Fri May 09, 2025 8:08 amNCSU is the other daughter's alma mater.Bigdaddyg1 wrote: ↑Fri May 09, 2025 7:59 amWe took one off the payroll as well last Saturday- graduated from NCSU and has a great job already! We don't slide at Appalachian State. It's a sign of weakness.

It's always good to have them off the payroll...and no matter how old they are, you never stop being a parent.
I'm sure those of you with adult kids would agree.
