March madness replacement

Unread post by appdaze » Mon Nov 24, 2025 12:10 pm

Welp, March madness had a good run, but these teams and fans will fight like never before to get in and win this tourney. Its scheduled for November. This is its second year and each participating team gets 1 mil in NIL money. This is an independent tournament. If this continues to be successful id bet the farm thay the football powers take note and will abandon the ncaa all together in favor of NIL playoffs by independent groups.

"They're giving us $1 million," Cougars coach Kelvin Sampson said. "That's why we're there, and I would say that's why all the teams are there. We didn't sign up for this to have a tournament where we could play each other. We signed up for this because they're giving us $1 million. If they decided to put a court down at some vacant lot and they'd give us $1 million, I'd go play there, too.

"It saves us from having to go ask somebody else for the money. There is a thing called donor fatigue."

Kelvin Sampson says it all here, doesn’t he?
