On offense, the Mountaineers started two seniors on Saturday. On defense, five freshmen and two sophomores were in the starting lineup.

I love this quote:

Quarterback Kameron Bryant: “We’re going to get this thing turned around. We’re going to keep hitting at that rock, and eventually it’s going to crack.”

Sounds similar to another teams motto this season....

A win this Saturday would be really big, Homecoming and against the current #1 team in the Conference.

Yep. And it could certainly happen now that we're not facing an offense that holds the ball for 3/4 of a game.

Especially, IF we can get some pressure on the QB.

Usually I would agree with that but we have the preseason OFF POY, 16 returning starters, and the freshmen who are starting are Marcus Cox, John Law, etc who have beat out older players. The freshmen are better than our juniors and seniors, so can't say it's youth because if it wasn't for them we would be worse.

"......at that rock?" Maybe that's why we've abandoned the "Always Attack." Nobody wants to attack a rock. ;)

Perhaps that's part of the problem. Maybe those freshman aren't really the better players and we're just giving up this year for the future years.

"we have the preseason OFF POY"

Actually, no, we don't. And that is part of the problem.
