SoCon Cups Points 20 Oct 2013

Unread post by McLeansvilleAppFan » Sun Oct 20, 2013 8:22 am

Slight change in Commish Cups points. It was confirmed that both App State and GaSo will receive points for football. I made the change as of this week.

Here is part of a quote from the email I received from the SoCon office.

"....This is in line with the precedent we set in 2009, when Chattanooga was ineligible for the football championship." I vaguely remember UT-C being ineligible, but I can't remember why. I need a memory refresh.

You mean we may actually get points for football with the way this season is going?

At least 3 points for football now. I figured before I asked the SoCon office that since we could not win the title we would not get points. I finally asked.

We may need those points come the end of the year for the last Commish Cup. Hopefully the other sports will not repeat the football situation.
