Love 'em or hate 'em, it's the Yankees. Probably the hardest team to nail down a single player for each position. Most are solid (and some considered the best ever at their position), but this is the Yankees. There are several Hall-of-Famers not here: Joltin' Joe, Bill Dickey, Whitey Ford, Reggie Jackson... You could build another all-time team with the guys left off this list. The lineup is potent indeed. Interestingly, while the pitching is great, you could find better elsewhere.
