Complete game by Nunn. I guess Billy just decided to the the bullpen out of the equation. Got to do whatever it takes to win.

The best solution to a shaky bullpen is strong starting pitching. Let's Jamie continues his strong outings. Winning that first game of a series provides good momentum.

Took game 2 with a complete game. For time since 2004 I think I heard where we had 2 complete games in a row.

Don't know about Boone, but I'd guess it is similar to what we have here about 75 miles away in SW Va. and we have about 1.5 inches of snow.

This might have a bit to do with it. 2:15 reading at the Boone weather station showed the wind was NW 31/Gust to 43 with a windchill of 26. And that's down from what it's been. We've had gusts over 60 with many trees down and power outages. Don't call it a High Wind Warning for nothing.
