As we are closing out the main chapter of SoCon history I will try and throw out some interesting non-App SoCon trivia over the next few days.

1. Davidson has not won a SoCon football game since 1972, and for about 7 years in the mid 70s to early 80s did not even bother to schedule any SoCon football. There last year in SoCon football was 1987.

Still Davidson has more SoCon FB titles than Western. Davidson shared the 1969 title and Western played one less SoCon game in 1983 so Furman had a better record that year.
