App State v Michigan Sports Illustrated
Warning: Once you begin reading this, you won't be able to stop. So plan on being preoccupied for about 20-30 minutes while basking in the glory of September 1st 2007.
Also, some of the photography in here is amazing. SI once again does an incredible job.
This is the best App State/Michigan piece I've ever read.

Dillard talking about playing Hail to the Victors in the weight room that week. Satt's been playing it over the PA very loudly this entire week of practice.

Re: App State v Michigan Sports Illustrated
Wonderful article. I learned some things, especially about Kerry getting sick pre game
Is it also in the print edition? If so I want one to go in the same plastic bag with the edition with Dex's pic on the cover.

I love Steve Browns quotes. Didn't realize Kerry Brown had food poisoning the night before the game.

For 7 years, I have never been able to understand what Brownie was screaming after the blocked kick. Now that I know, I just have to figure out what "yard sale in the Big House" means.

I don't know, but I wouldn't mind hearing him yell it again (live) on Saturday.EastHallApp wrote:For 7 years, I have never been able to understand what Brownie was screaming after the blocked kick. Now that I know, I just have to figure out what "yard sale in the Big House" means.

Earlier in the 4th quarter when we were still ahead Steve said something to the effect that if we won they would have to have a yard sale at the big house because they wouldn't be needing their equipment any longer.

I still don't believe he is saying "yard sale". I've heard it like 500 times, like the rest of you here. And i'm certain he is saying "gonzo".

Re: App State v Michigan Sports Illustrated
I always heard it as "God's ball." Didn't really think that's what he was saying - maybe a vague reference to Lynch's religious faith? - but for the life of me couldn't figure out what he was. Now I know why - the real answer doesn't make any more sense than my guess.dubs21 wrote:I still don't believe he is saying "yard sale". I've heard it like 500 times, like the rest of you here.
