USM Game Available in Boone and Surrounding

Good news for the people in Boone and surrounding areas as Mountain Television Network (MTN) has announced it plans to carry the App-USM game and other App games in the future. Also says it's available online but I haven't been able to get it to come up and I'm covered up right now so if someone else wants to check and see please post it on here as it might be an option for some in the Charlotte area who can't get to the game.

That's great news. Apparently NESNplus is part of the season-long MLB package and for bars/restaurants that costs about $1000. Most places don't have that package as they don't need it,especially with 11 days left in the MLB regular season. So it was coming down to either finding a stream through alternative means or driving out of town to Asheville or Greensboro to watch.

That doesn't mean they have the package. I asked today and they don't. So it isn't 100% if they have it. I'm sure they have MTNm The Rock worked something out today so they got NESNplus.

Time Warner in Charlotte has NESN but not the NESN Plus.

I went to NESN plus on DirecTV and the current game there...Nichols State and North Texas is blacked out.

I've got the dvr set to record the game, as I'll be occupied with my daughters bedtime for most of the first half. Here's hoping NESN plus doesn't black the game out in Charlotte
