Woody

Fire him now. Our Defense is pathetic.

There's no way this many teams should be scoring this many points week after week after week.

It may be Dale Jones and other assistants

I was hard on Dale Jones after Wiley left but our defense has never, ever been this bad.

The DBs are blowing it but our rush D has been stout all year sans Georgia Southern.

Woody had average defenses with Wofford when he had the option offense to kill the clock for him. He sucks.

Didn't we hire him for his ability to stop the triple option? We don't face that high school offense but once a year now. Get rid of him.

Come on man......we got run over tonight....they could get 3 to 5 yards at will.....Not trying to disparage any of our players but I would trade our O line for theirs right now

I made that at the start of the 3rd quarter when they had 3 rushing yards.

I want to go back to the last drive. Make no mistake, Satterfield made a decision to kick a field goal to win the game. He gave up on the offense and trying to score a td and ran the clock out and tried to kick a field goal on 3rd down. Even if we had a great field goal kicker I could not agree with simply giving up on trying to score a TD. But we've had all kinds of issues kicking field goals. I simply can't understand what he was thinking. And even if it was a good decision he made a rookie mistake. If you decide to kick a field goal on 3rd down you don"t run the clock all the way down. You leave 10 or 15 seconds. That way if you have a bad snap you can get a time out and try the kick again on 4th down. He did a similar thing at the end of the half. He allowed the clock to run so low that if we would have gotten a first down we would have run out of time. I thought maybe just maybe SS wad a good tactician and just a poor head coach. I now have to question his abilities as a tactician as well.

Don't forget he made that decision with the punter kicking FG's. Even worse.

Back to Woody, not just woody, there is not a defensive coack on staff that should be here tomorrow. That was a total defensive effort. Our DB's are terrible, just looking at the staff, we have a CB coach and a secondary coach. 2 coaches and this is what we get? How about refund their salaries. The DL is terrible and the LB's can't wrap people up. Othern than that, they're great!

Gotta admit though, that this point some of it is effort and emotion, we have little of either.

It was a curious hire from the beginning. Can't help but think Ayers had something to do with it. Wofford's defenses were terrible even with an offense that kept them off the field for 2/3 of the game. We hung 70 on them.

I'm not in the Fire Satterfield camp yet. But I have to admit something has to happen on the defensive side of the ball. We are beyond awful. I don't know if the players are that bad or is it the scheme that blows?

Teams can pass against us at will. Nobody covers anybody! We broke up maybe three passes tonight. All other incompletions were either bad throws or dropped balls. I can't even think of one reception that was challenged. Every pass is caught with no defender within 5-10 yds. I've been an avid football fan for 44 years and I've never seen a pass defense this bad at any level of the game.

Liberty was 0 for 10 in third down conversions last week. 0 for ten!!! We couldn't stop them.

We need to comb the entire continent for a place kicker to sign this winter. Offer the kid a car, a harem, whatever it takes. We have to have a reliable kicker on the roster next year and don't even THINK about red shirting him. Or her, I don't give a damn.
