We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. Best game they've had all season, if I didn't know better I'd say they were a little pissed off yesterday. Thurber pitched a complete game, good job.

Agreed, let's hope they're just as pissed today as yesterday!asu66 wrote:Let's make it two!WataugaMan wrote:Best game they've had all season, if I didn't know better I'd say they were a little pissed off yesterday. Thurber pitched a complete game, good job.

Apps bats seem to be coming alive 9-6 UL now. Need to put up 0's in the field.hapapp wrote:UL has already parked 4 homers and lead 9-2 in the 4th.

It's a tragedy to look at Thurber pitching numbers and then look at his 4-8 record. He's putting up conference POY type numbers, if we could score for him.

Re: Vs. Louisiana Lafayette 5/1/15
It is a shame. He certainly has been a bright spot in this otherwise lousy season. It should be noted A number of the L's he collected came during the 1st half of the season when he was used in a releif role. Not sure of the #, but would think at least 5. Most of the games he has started, he left the game with the lead. The bullpen and late game pitching change decisions couldn't hold those leads though. Hence all of the late game collapses.Blackandgold wrote:It's a tragedy to look at Thurber pitching numbers and then look at his 4-8 record. Re: Vs. Louisiana Lafayette 5/1/15
Just imagine how different this season could have been if we had a couple of reliable arms in the pen. Thurber and Springs did all they could in their starts. Still a great way to finish the home slate of a rough year.

Here's hoping they have a great finish, it's been rough this season, they deserve a decent exit for sure.
