Prayers for Mexico

Unread post by firemoose » Fri Oct 23, 2015 9:40 am

We're all riding high after a dominating performance last night and I in no way won't to slow down the great feeling but I wanted to offer some thoughts and prayers for the people of Mexico who are about to be hit by one of the strongest hurricanes in history (for those that remember, this storm is, at this moment, a little stronger than Super Typhoon Haiyan that hit the Phillippines in 2013 and killed more than 6,000 people). Not only the rural villages that will not be here tomorrow but there are some cities (Manzanillo and Puerto Vallarta to name a couple) who will take major destruction in the next 24 hours. Plus flooding rains for the mountain villages and towns as it moves inland.

I know we don't normally say things like this on here but Patricia isn't a normal storm. Given my Emergency Management/Responder background and all the hurricanes I've been through, both prep and search/rescue/recovery, I just wanted to offer prayers. People will be gone tomorrow and lives will be changed. God Bless all in the path of the storm.
