Recruit visiting for Ark St

Hey guys, big Marshall fan here. Also a high school football coach here in West Virginia.

One of my players (Luke Presley) is going to be there on a visit tomorrow, and he is really excited. Was told the DB and RB coach, both liked his film. Luke told me that if App offers, he would most likely go there. From what he has seen and heard, this is where he wants to go.

Luke will be playing in the Blue/Grey High School All American game on Jan 16th in Jacksonville, Florida. I messed up and didn't nominate him in time. They were full at RB, but invited him as a DB. So he will be playing in that game as a DB.

He has been invited to visit Memphis, Akron, Marshall, and Appalachian State. He already took a visit to Marshall and had a good time. Couldn't get the dates to work out for the Memphis and Akron games, but he might visit once our season is over with. We play a really bad team on Friday, so we are allowing him to miss our Thursday walk thru to go to your game. Partly because he is VERY interested in App State. A few big schools have been in contact, mainly to say they are keeping an eye on him, and wanting to see how their current commits shake out. Big schools such as Virginia, Clemson, WVU, and a few others.

Anyways, guess this is enough rambling. I figured that anyone who reads this board is an avid App State fan. Just thought I would pass along the info.

Through 9 games Luke is closing in on 2,000 yards rushing with over 25 TDs. Also averaging over 14 yards per carry for the season, and I don't have his defensive stats in front of me, but he is a beast on that side of the ball as well.

Welcome to the Rock Luke!! By the way, love West Virginia, kayak the South Branch Potomac River a lot and camp near Springfield a few times every year! Once again, welcome!

PS - I realize you're on the other end of the state from Springfield (near Cumberland, MD), however, the Blue Ridge is the Blue Ridge.

Impressive. I hope he enjoys his trip to the High Country and hopefully an App State win.
