Instant heart palpitation ---

Unread post by WVAPPeer » Tue Jan 05, 2016 8:15 am

OK - yesterday we were watching PTI on ESPN and I wasn't paying much attention to the scroll at the bottom UNTIL I caught the words "...... Satterfield as Head Coach" - WHAT? --- Did I see that correctly? - so I waited for the scroll to repeat, it didn't - I checked my websites - Nothing --- So, I call Moose and he starts checking all his stuff - Nothing --- THEN, the scroll reappears - Tenn Tech has named former Temple Offensive Coordinator MARCUS Satterfield as Head Coach--- Whew, Moose and I both took deep breaths !!!

On a somewhat related note, I heard that Satt will be on Playbook with Jack Arute on Sirius channel 84 today. The show airs from 1-4, but I'm not sure what time slot Satt will be on.

Glad you can chill and relax, it will be a few more months before we might see that happen

I'd predict a few more years. Continued success is more attractive.

Rats! Just missed it by 15 minutes or so. What did you learn from the interview?

He talked about the returning starters from last year and thought we would have a good season. Pretty much said we are used to winning, talking about the App State history 2005-2007 National Championship games. Said we had the 2nd most rushing yards against Clemson this season.

The intro was:
1st FBS team to move up and win their first bowl game
1st Sun Belt team to win 11 games
on and on....

It was pretty cool for Jack Arute and Butch Davis giving Satt and App State some serious props.

Glad it was a false alarm. It will be real enough one day. Let's hope it's a long way off.
