I will help Bret move from Fayeteville today.Offensively, the Mountaineers return third-year starting quarterback Taylor Lamb, each of their top four running backs, led by senior Marcus Adams, and four players who started at least six games along the offensive line last season.

Re: WSJ article
Sounds like they've thrown a more varied playbook at them during the camp. That is a very positive sign. Maybe our offense won't be quite as vanilla as we've been early in the season recently with the younger teams we've had. Things seem to be shaping up very positively. I'm pumped about this year!

Note that comment was in reference to the defense. Satt has mentioned in a couple of the practice reports that the offense is still pretty basic.Yosef84 wrote:Sounds like they've thrown a more varied playbook at them during the camp. Re: WSJ article
Ah, good point. I let my wishful thinking influence my reading. That said, we've been a little slow to release the defensive dogs also, so a good aggressive defense goes a long way to getting the positive field position that will help on the other side of the ball. Yes I know. I'm a total homer.EastHallApp wrote:Note that comment was in reference to the defense.
