Re: FCS Spring Season Megathread
The right coach can make WCU successful. The right coach made Kansas State successful when they were the worst team in all FBS/I-A, the right coach turned around Rutgers, the right coach turned around Vanderbilt for a while and the right coach (Chadwell) turned around Charleston Southern when they ...

I heard him call an ETSU game back in 2019. He must be branching out.ASUchipman wrote: ↑Sun Feb 28, 2021 2:12 pmI was watching Mercer and Citadel yesterday. A very familiar voice was calling that game. How I wish I could Hear it in Boone again.

Re: FCS Spring Season Megathread
I’m seeing lots of attrition in the SoCon. Almost every team is 1-1. Except for Western, they are 0-2 as they should be. Stumbled on a few minutes of both of wcu’s games. They are abysmal. GO APPS!! They're looking pretty rough, no doubt. I'm afraid the end of the line may be fast approaching for C...

Re: Tiger Woods Suffers Serious Trauma Injuries
Ben Hogan had his brush with death. Then became legend. I am pretty sure those were different circumstances in a different era. He was told he would be lucky to walk again and he became golfs greatest champion and is still revered by many today as it’s finest technician. Of any era. My point is thi...

Re: Eric Church
I grew up watching UNC basketball/football. It was on in my house and if we went to my grandparents house and UNC was playing, you best believe it was on. I became a fan because it was what we watched. I also went to the same high school as Roy Williams and his basketball coach was my drivers ed te...

Re: Got 2020-21 Bowl Trophy?
From what I saw of last night's Orange Bowl, I don't think we would have matched up as well against the holes this year. It was still fun watching their wheels fall off in the 4th quarter.

Speaking of notable bowl streaks, the beach chickens are 0-1. They also boast a perfect 0-0 record in SBC Championship games. Glad they will always have 2020 to reflect back on as their season in the sun.

Re: Former CCU and NFL RB dead of apparent heart attack
Terrible to see a young man die like this! Thoughts and prayers to family, friends and fans. On a separate note, that article reads like it was written by a high school kid. The use of "cops" and "eventually latched on with the CFL" just seems really shoddy for example. I don't generally comment on...

Based on the Coastal game it won't be his arm that gets that opportunity for him.appstate77 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 30, 2020 12:09 pmHe is good too! At the risk of blasphemy, I'm hoping their QB Werts gets a shot in the league. I was impressed with his play.

Re: “The Sunbelt game of the year”
I am glad to see CCU having some success, but like LaLa, they are yet to win a game against us. That might change this season, but I am far from convinced it will. I think last night's crew took advantage of an opportunity to talk about two SB teams not named App State. Although I kept waiting to he...

May he rest in peace. I was never a huge fan of him or his band, but I owned an album or two. Valerie is a different story, she tripped my triggers back in those days.
