Re: Brawl of the Wild 2
Anybody else remember that Marcus LeBlanc? guy who made a fool of himself when Montana St played us in the playoffs in Boone. 😂  I was talking about this fool earlier today. Every time I see Montana State I think of that clown. Also, can’t remember the QB’s name but we beat the hell out ...

Re: High Point in Hickory
Not the point of the conversation, but that's a middle school attached to the back side of LR. The high school is about a mile away from LR's campus. That's my home town and I grew up close enough I used to ride my bike up to LR and back all the time. Talking about the game...what High Point was ab...

Re: The J Cline Memorial Celebrity Obituaries
I don't think Rob Reiner gets included among the great filmmakers of his generation as much as he probably should, compared to people like Speilberg or Scorsese, because he has made "lighter" or "fluffier" films, including, God forbid, comedies. But how else should one look at a catalogue including...

Re: High Point in Hickory
I would almost bet the parking fee was for LR as well. I could definitely be wrong though. Gotta pay the electric bill some how. I thought that might be the case but it seems the folks taking money had App State gear on. Maybe LR trusts us to be honest and that maybe have been why the folks taking ...

Re: High Point in Hickory
Just think, if they would bump the parking fee up to $40, you wouldn't have to waste your time on a crap level 2 charger and they could install a coupme of the big boys. Then you could get that baby juiced up with a supercharger. I was actually pleased with what it did as I was there almost 4 hours...

Re: High Point in Hickory
My only complaint was parking was $20. I pulled in right behind the bus by chance and they came in the back way. I needed to park there as some Level 2 chargers have been installed. The parking folks did not make me pay since I was so early and I explained I needed to charge my EV but that seems ju...

Re: The J Cline Memorial Celebrity Obituaries
I wonder what happens to the Spinal Tap concert that is to be released this spring. I think this is to be a concert at Stonehenge. I assume a small statement at the start or end of the film.

Re: It could be worse
Nevermind. Prosecutors charged Moore with felony third-degree home invasion and two misdemeanors: stalking in a domestic relationship and breaking and entering. Moore was released from jail after meeting the $25,000 bond. If the "victim" of the home invasion is the paramour who turned him in, proba...

Re: At ECU
Do we really have 5,000 at the Hickory campus? The announcers mentioned that just before the game ended. I thought I heard elsewhere that it's 500. Having dropped in and walked around on a Friday e mid semester I would think 500 was reasonable, maybe 1,000. Place was deserted but it was Friday afte...

Re: Birmingham Bowl
Why? Integrity of the game? Because actions should have consequences? Acting like a petulant child shouldn't be rewarded. Actually a bunch of schools turned down bowl bids. I don't understand why it should be a requirement. It is kind of a requirement for SBC because we begged ESPN to create bowls ...

Re: Birmingham Bowl
At the beginning of each season, every school knows the playing ground. You win enough games, you are potentially in the cfp. If you have a decent record, you will be on invited to a bowl game. You also know, that depending on your record, you may not be invited to an elite bowl. You also know that...
