Re: Birmingham Bowl
What are y'all talking about? You gotta take off the gold glasses for a second. Armanti DEVELOPED into a great passer. Look at his completion percentage rise throughout his 4 years. Look at the drop in interceptions. Look at the rise in attempts with that completion percentage. Armanti was not a gre...

Re: Birmingham Bowl
I love how the arm chair QBs are judging Wilson's abilities and saying he can't do it after seeing him play on a depleted team against a non depleted team. This is like any other sport. You have absolutely no idea what that young man would have e done with full first team reps and off-season reps. Y...

Re: Portal time 25-26
Do...the basketball side of the ncaa has now allowed a drafted player to come back to college because he never really played in the NBA. Does this mean we can open the Canadian portal now?

Re: Birmingham Bowl
Im just gonna say. Where the F has Wilson been. With our QB struggles its insane we didn't give this guy some snaps. If he was running the practice squad then the coaching staff knew he could do this and didn't even try it in games. I think what this shows is that money talks more than talent. The o...

Re: Birmingham Bowl
Nothing like a bad bowl game to bring out the best in our fan base. Don't look too much in to this bowl game. This is a tryout for next years team. You will probably see both QBs throughout the game. DL knows how depleted this team is. The arm chair QBs are out in perfect post season form on here.

Site attachment limit reached.
I was going to add a Pic to the merry Christmas page, but I was met with an error message stating that the board attachment quota had been reached. Is that something that could be easily fixed or is it due to a payment tier the board exists on?

Re: Portal time 25-26
I think that mainly shows 2 things. If you had a coaching change recently then you can reload with the portal for players that better fit that coach and go on to win. The second thing is that if you are one of the top 5 premier programs you dont have to portal for players all the time as you get the...

Hunter and Murrell.....will never forget that duo. Imagine the money they could have gotten in the portal. Thank goodness it was not around then. Ha, I dont even want to think about that. 05 would have been our only chip and the magical run over the next decade wouldn't have happened. I truly beliv...

Drink calls it like it is and says all his players are getting calls because the ncaa is not enforcing any tampering rules.

Re: Portal time 25-26
Even though losing Burks hurts us, I'm ok with that one. He gave us 4 years already. He worked his way up. Some NFL teams might kick the tires on him but won't be throwing tons of money at him. Hes got the college stats now. Let him go get one pay day before its all over.

Re: Who is the "last great App State player"?
This is kind of tough. I kind of have a standard for these things. Even before the portal I felt like you needed to be a big contributor for 3 or more years. Remember we are talking the Greats, not just the really goods. A lot of HoF and Honor rings have become the Halls of the really good instead o...

Re: Watauga Pioneers
Its a shame that QB isnt just a wee bigger. He put up some good high school stats and has been pretty good about putting the ball where it needs to go. That first TD down the side was nice.
