Re: ASU tennis courts
Ok a small elevated walk way 2feet high is a “barrier”….and the triangle corners 4feet out are a “barrier” I guess since you want to be technical. There are no court nets that run the length of the playing surface (UNC).in fact only Wake Forest has any complete between court barrier. Duke n State n...

Re: ASU tennis courts
My point is look at any tennis facility, no barriers between courts and neither Stanford or UNC courts look as good as ours minus stands that no one ever attends at App anyway. Are you legitimately that blind? The court you are trying to prove your point with has the barrier between courts 3 and fo...

Re: NCAA and Prig5 anti trust settlement
I see a lot of biased opinions who are butt hurt that the old system is dying. Like it or not the courts got it right. If you want to blame anyone then blame the cartel of colleges that created the farce of amateur athletics to begin with. It's always been a farce. At least place the blame on the c...

Re: ASU tennis courts
We can have whatever you are willing to pay for. We’ve come a long way despite the challenges. So our athletic department can't afford 40 more ft worth of chain link fence to create the triangle barriers between the back of each court and some gold paint? If that is the case I guess all football st...

Re: ASU tennis courts
I would hope they don’t make an expensive decision based on what a coach wants especially since they come and go quickly. I know little to nothing about tennis stuff but maybe they can’t have bright colors on the surface? Again zero clue You can ha e bright colors. Other schools who use yellow have...

Re: ASU tennis courts
I am happy about this, but I have to admit, that is not a top tier design. No sectioning of courts or court dividers or fence jut outs to prevent balls from interfering on other courts. I hope they aren't done and this is just a progress image.

ASU tennis courts
They look well built but I hope they can make them more AppState somehow. Some Grey and white block A's just seem awkward somehow. https://x.com/AppWTennis/status/1796609941395964186?t=318bdI---6kL7KgWWcPMKA&s=19 For comparison here are a few other schools. Of course. I’m mostly thinking about the future. Re: NCAA and Prig5 anti trust settlement
Something to think about in that regard. Will states shut down certain programs in order to not have to pay athletes as employees?

The irony of him passing on memorial day.
Loved his game and Twitter commentary. Wish they could have had him on the TNT show with Shaq and Barkley.

Re: NCAA and Prig5 anti trust settlement
If I’m a P5 school and they allow 100 scholarships, my strategy would be grab 85 and leave 15 to flex and poach developed and proven talent from schools I know that can’t match what I can pay. I’d also limit HS recruiting, probably shift down to around 75% of what they typically go after. That woul...

Re: NCAA and Prig5 anti trust settlement
If schools are allowed to now work with their collectives, then they might be able to structure the revenue sharing through the collectives with NIL deals, which currently aren't subject to Title IX. This, in the end, likely will be resolved in court. Does Title IX require equal payment, or equal o...
