Re: FCS Quarterfinals Today

Glad we moved up, but there was some good football in FCS. Enjoy us no matter what level we perform in.

Always enjoyed the show. Hate to hear the news.
Me, too, Cap. It was a feel good show. The good always defeated the evil; which is what I needed at the time.
At 73, I still need shows like this today.
FWIW and BTW, I turned 73 yesterday, Capt.

I agree about SJC. I see Zac as the consummate backup QB for several years. He will make lots of money and then move on to TV. Landing a gig like Daniel Jeremiah currently has.
I agree with you, but I think he will be coaching instead of being on TV.

Re: Grocery store visit

I’m no quarterback scout but I just ain’t seein it. He’s a fine athlete and I always thought a potential taysom hill type role would suit him but as a typical backup quarterback based on the regression he displayed and the inaccuracy that seemed to plague him, I don’t know how he would be successfu...

Re: Grocery store visit

His so called inaccuracy was partly due to the receivers not being experienced enough, consistently healthy nor practiced quite enough due to constant disruptions by COVID to run their routes and sync their timing with Zac. Too, blocking was inconsistent. Not trying to make excuses, just saying ther...

This is the worst news.
Certainly so! God's Peace to the families and friends of the deceased and the wounded.

We had a procession all the way from Winston-Salem to Boone. Departments/First Responders and the public were lining 421 the whole way.

Good to hear that both law enforcement and "civilians" were paying honors.

Rifleman Star Passes

Chuck Conners played his dad. Johnny Crawford, best known for his iconic role as Mark McCain in the 1950's ABC series The Rifleman, died Thursday from COVID-19 and pneumonia. He was 75. Re: Officer down - Boone

Not a good sign but those teams are top-notch at providing comfort and support to grief-stricken individuals, families and organizations. Someone 'splain to me why the WINSTON-SALEM JOURNAL found it necessary to mention that the home under heavy siege by law enforcement is just six miles from the A...

Re: Spier out at Western

Spier being hired by Western in December 2011 was the first domino that led to Satterfield coming back and saving the program. Someone can win there. Spier won there in 2014-2017, but I think the game passed him by in some ways. I doubt it'll happen, but Western should kick the tires on PJ3. I woul...
