Re: FB vs the fake ASU Saturday at 2:30
App always gets screwed with the home TG weekend game. Wth. Boone is unique, in that none of the students live here, they all go home for break. Ugh

Dont blame him for everything happening today in college sports. It's just sad each yr, third to half rosters are moving. Defeats the point of sports. Competition. It's pro sports now

Re: ACC
No, I get each place has it's special part, just baffled that App looked on like a small market, but most of the Aac. Conf are small markets. App also unique in that the local area market may be smaller, but most of their alumni are in Raleigh and or Charlotte markets.

Re: ACC
Crazy thing is when these discussions come up. App not a big market etc. But then when you look at programs in the Aac Conf Usa Etc. 90% of them are crap towns. Small markets. Marshall market? Go on down the list. App is unique in that it is a destination tourist place and cool place for visiting te...

Re: A sobering reality we are going to have to face
They need to set some guardrails. How about some sort of sal cap?. The NFL has this. As it is now, the shallow/winner of a cfb champ will the fanbase that funnels the most $$ to their players for nothing.

Re: New jerseys unveiled Wednesday
Stripes are goofy. Why? Just roll with all black at home, all white on road. No retro or alt unis. Classic/ recognizable. The more alt unis you do, the more you lose your brand

Re: App Fans
Was I the only one that knew dude was gonna get it stripped on that next to last App possession? Baffled that college & Nfl players dont realize tacklers are coming to punch the ball out, every time. Still think cc guy's feet were out of bounds

Re: App State briefly mentioned in realignment shuffle
App is so unique in that it's a great road game for opponent fans. I mean trip to see their team play in Boone/mountains seems like a more enjoyable destination that Greenville, S Miss, Marshall etc. I know App/Boone isnt a huge city/tv market, but most of their alumni base is in Charlotte/ Raleigh ...

Re: NCAA trying to get a handle on transfers
One guardrail needed is transfer anywhere, except within conference. They can pick from hundreds of schools, but within conference is ridiculous. They have insider knowledge of the program, the coaches, the playbook. Undermines competition. Rivalries.
